Hey, I recently got a 360 and I have a question. I'm getting Rock Band Bundle, and was wondering if I could buy Rock Band, take the guitar that comes with it, buy Guitar Hero 2, and play GH2 with the Rock Band Guitar.

 

I'd be very sad if I can't do that, since I don't want to have to buy GH2 + GH controller, then buy Rock Band (GAME ONLY), and spend an extra like $50 or something to buy the drums and microphone seperatly, then play rock band with the GH controller (if i can even do that.)

Yes you can. Its technically illegal though in the terms and conditions ( I think) You can also use the guitar hero guitar with rock band.

well you can use the GH guitar with Rock Band so I dont see why it wouldn't the way around.

I really don't want to buy everything then find out it doesn't work.

honestly i think your better off buying both games with a guitar each and think of it this way if the GH2 guitar works with rock band you get a four person band and if vise versa you get co-op

It was tested a bit ago in joystiq, the Rock band controller wouldn't work with GH.

Ok thanks, and Riku, theres no way my parents would let me do that since I have Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii :)
