Watermelons to level 70

Featured Replies

I'm planning to go Watermelons (plus herbs and other patches near the allotments) to level 70 Farming.

Tip.it's Farming Calc. says I need to pick 10k Watermelons for 70 Farming. Though I'm not planning to go all watermelon, I just need to know:

How many melons do you usually get per seed?

I'll be using both M Secateurs and Super Compost while farming.

Hard to tell.based on my experience its somewhere between 14-32...

[Edit] so per seed its about 5-11

The minimum you can get from 1 patch with supercompost is i believe 8. That's the lowest i've ever had anyway. i usually average 15-25 though, with the occaisional super high harvest (record was 62 from 1 patch  )

EDIT: to add to what i said earlier.. willow and apple tree seeds are at an all time low price atm. Even if you just do 1 round of each a day it'll speed up your training loads.

62 !!!! and i thought my 40 was good ...

I'd suggest to use mid level trees and fruit trees if you want to level farming effectively. Prices have recenly come down a lot so you could pick them up pretty cheaply at the GE. By doing watermelon and herbs on the side, that will help you balance out your costs.

Hope that helps.

+1

Curry trees ftw :D (also goes good with Watermelons)

Is a bit offtopic then i sorry, but interesting how much money is to train with watermelons, like i remember they not cheap thing :)

Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.

Maybe I should just go for a Big Farming Circuit then, with a bit of everything.
