Another question from me.

Featured Replies

Okay, here's my next question.

What monster is the best for level three clue drops.

I've heard:

Hellhounds

Jellies

Anything else?

When I see people say it, I pronounce it "poon" in my head. Makes more sense to me. My friend said it in real life once and I almost kneed him in the family-maker.

Hellhounds are the best by far because the only drop they have is a Lv 3 Clue. Jellies drop other things a lot more.

Yes, but I don't know... If I buy my ammo for ranging them... Then I could lose money if I get bad clues... And If I lose too much money... I won't be able to afford more ammo...

But it's probably all in my head.

If you also want good loot while killing, go for Cyclopes (not Cyclopses) if you are willing to gather tokens (kill mith armor). Fire giants are good too.

You can get clues from fire giants?

I didn't know that.

I think I'll use hellhounds, and cyclopse (yes, I knew that plural), but I've got four rune defenders and no clues from them.

I also have to fish or steal my own food for them.

Depends on whether you want lots of clues or good clues. Jellies are easy to kill, plus they drop lots of clues. Hellhounds take longer to kill, so you won't get as many. I'd go with hellhounds, though.

Fire Giants don't, don't listen to that statement. I was insane writing that one sentence. Sorry.

You can buy food downstairs, and the plural was a joke.

Ankous have decent loot, are good xp, and drop clues. If you like killing dragons, all fully-grown dragons drop level 3 clues.

You can cannon greaters with safespot and range/mage too.

It may be worth mentioning that if your hunter is high enough, catching imps may fetch clues too.

Iron arrow on hell hounds work pretty good, and iron arrows arn't that expensize either...

You could try to power house though a bunch of level 1 clue's people make tons of money doing that, spend a week of non stop level 1 clues and get around 5 million. In my mind there better then level 3 clues, because with them it's just luck with level 1 it's just how many you do.
