CHINA

The thing is China are doing our donkey work now, but when the next generation of kids that are taught well due to the money from this donkey work, America and Great Britain will be stuffed, because those kids are gonna take our jobs. I beleive America will want to go to war over this, and Tony Blair will probably stick up for him (stupid mug) and it could result in war haveing a lmae public excuse like liberation, but only really about the power. 8)

If you don't like it:

#1: Get education for a job which is highly unlikely to get outsourced. Newsflash: Engineers, assemblers, etc. that are mass graduating by millions per year don't belong to this category. Get an education for something that requires brain and can't be done by just any moron walking on the street.

#2: Employ yourself, start a business or become an independent investor. That way nobody can fire you and you usually even get better money than when slaving off to a company.

You can't stop globalisation or outsourcing of jobs. Think, if in New York the workers demanded $2,200 a month for assembling cell phone parts and in New Jersey they demanded $2,800. When talking about employing thousands, even tens of thousands of people, which sensible businessman would NOT pick New York?

In this example, it doesn't matter what you replace NY with, be it China, India, or any other place where it's cheaper. And "patriotism" isn't a reason, if all people were as stupid as to believe that, nobody would use machines and we'd still be hand manufacturing every single thing in groups of 50 when a single machine could do it all for cheaper.

Actually, the education over there isn't too great even compared to ours lol. You have to understand that as their "level" of jobs rises, so does ours.

The problem here is that unless you have a unique product you will have competition. Competition from a company based in china where they have a much lower productioncost then you can ever have is not good for your buissiness.

and thats globalisation, or globalization, however u spell it..

as a chinese american i'm somewat offeneded by ure rude comments and the reason for many factory workers in china is mainly the school system. unlike in american where very dumb ppl can past junior high, in china there is a enterance exam and fee to go to high school, so u have to be smart and somewat middle class, if u dont make the exam u'll probably be a labor worker, so they take education a bit more seriously, i'm sure this is probably done in other countries to. so cram it or go to the factory, wow i kinda glad i live in america, (though canada would be better)

The US has no justification of war if its own companies wants to go overseas. The government doesnt have control of the companies. Also if it wants to go to war, it would have to take the rist of another world war, and bring it up to the UN for approval. That will fail considering it takes only one vote to veto the action, in which China would most likely do.

China is also not the only country in which the jobs are outsourced to. There is India, Singapore, Japan, and Korea. So isn't it unfair to blame everything on China?
