Exactly what the title says. Could a joke be considered as Encouraging Others to Break Rules, such as in the joke? Just curious.

its like if someone came up to you, showed you a bug, and told you to keep doing it. or if someone told you to spam alot... that kind of stuff. :shame:

If you tell ppl to do things that are bad (according to jagex rules) then you are breaking the rule 9.

Ok, all that I can understand. What about if someone Joked around a bit, saying if one of their friends or something showed up, and they were famous or high leveled of some sort, and said, oh such and such, lets spam him! And afterwards saying lol. People would obviously take this the wrong way, what if they thought you really were some jerk trying to break rules, where in fact you were just trying to make a joke? I've known people practically banned for this.

Dude, maybe the person who started it considers that as a "joke", but I think you should really think about how the receiving person will feel. If you wanna joke arround on rs, fine, but best make jokes that are actually funny.

I was more talking about the people clustered around it, but yeah I guess. That's the thing about Runescape, you really can't have humor anymore without people assuming you're deathly serious. *Sigh*

Jagex doesnt want players trying to convince other players to spam, scam, steal, etc. Its just a bad habbit and can ruin the game if alot of people keep breaking the rules.
