Technicly you could make your resolution smaller and it would 'look' bigger, but it'd actually be the same size.

In addition, the graphics would be more pixelated than they are already.

 

 

 

There is hope. Sometime ago, Jagex asked what resolutions we were running, so they may be looking to change the size in the near future.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, on a large desktop use the space to put stuff like the forums, calculators and so on.

 

 

 

I use a massive resolution and just fill the gaps with tools and so on.

No, as has been said, reducing your resolution would make it artificially larger but also worse quality. And the messages in your chat box on your first image make you look like a moron, which is probably why someone has already reported this post.
