January 16, 200818 yr I have no access to the runescape database at the moment but I notice a lot of posts regarding whether or not summoning is an easy skill to level. The highest mention of a level I have found is 47 within 24 hours. Does this not mean that it will take the richer players only a month to get to 99 or is this wrong?
January 16, 200818 yr I not sure about speed but my opinion is then is another useless skill like hunter :) It so familar to Diablo2 Sumo Druids (is character build), not all like when something follow they and now i will need it to train just to keep my overal & experience ratings in hiscores.. i very hate it and i have without sumoning big plans what to do.. just maybye it a bit free hunting grounds. Another thing what i understand is not cheap and speed equal will be i think from ammount money which you are decided to invest, like you train combat killing monsters and getting charms too, then just how much you got charms you can train sumoning, elsewhere you will need to buy it on GE what mean then a lot of players will try to buy, what mean then prices will be not cheap, another thing is shards you need a lot of they for any pouch... Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.Visit my exp track
January 16, 200818 yr Author Level 47 is reached at 75000 xp 99 at say 13000000 therefore 173 days to 99 if no other methods used for faster xp. I will estimate that the first 99 will be reached on April 15th 2008

OMG! I agreed 100%! Every update, this game gets more, and more like another game, WOW, Diablo 2, Guild Wars, I'm tempted to go back to diablo 2. It's so far, one of the most expensive skills to level. I think it's like runecrafting, it's fairly slow, and is rather expensive.
January 16, 200818 yr ow ow ow !!!! another useless skill like hunter Smile omg, have you ever used red chinchompas in multicombat areas ? Charms are untradable ! The initial quest only gives you enough to get the 10 first levels (and get aware of it). quest require 2 wolfbones and brings you levels 4. Get 280 raw chicken for the 6 levels after the quest. Shards are 50ea and to be bought at summoning stores Pouches are 1ea same place both stacks and are infinite buyable. 10 levels = 110k + chickens After that it's up to you, you just got an easy combat level. Charms are dropped by monsters arround entire Gielinor. There are 5 sort of charms : gold, green crimson blue and abyssal. you only use the 4 firsts, the last one is a second item for abyssal familliars. The big work is to get the charms, but if you search you will soon find a list of dropers. I can tell you, the places are crowding fast... Droppers are mainly slayer beasts, so i can presume it is wise to train both... stock the charms and levels when hyou have the cash. But since familliars are also help in combat, why not to use them in your hunt for more charms ? This is an expensive skill that is not completely 'buyable'... You have both a gathering/use part in it. And as a conclusion : don't forget that every familiar /pets and maybe even chaos tunnels are available ! 47 in 24h is when you are well prepared : huge amount of cballs and a nice 126. With no more wild dogs to ennoy you, you can do the charm gathering very quick, depending on your ressources. Add to it the GE possibility to get items fast. 1 month only ? possible but with 250M and a mountain of cballs. Oh baby light the dark side...
