Keiphus asked to see an all opaque painting. Cell shading was probably not what he had in mind, but ah well. I figured as long as I am doing it, might as well have fun with it.

The clouds/pillow sheds are great! Keep going. :)

I have a real struggle with the sketchier style of opaque painting that a lot of the speed painters do. I just can't seem to get into it.

I think if I did some traditional paints it would help. Or maybe try some textured papers in painter or something. I keep wanting to do oils and acrylics but I don't have time during the day, and we don't have a great space indoors.

I just finished speedpainting an oil on canvas landscape... I'll see if I can get it uploaded, turned out pretty nice for about an hours work. (30minutes spread over 2 days). And it was my first time ever painting with oils.... to each his own right?

We have a traveling easel, all the paints, canvas etc.....just no time. I think perhaps I could do it on my day off. Could spend hours painting then dream about doing more the rest of the week!

They also have a new speedpaint/sketch thread over at somethingleet. Go post when you get it online.

I'm sure i wouldn't want to pillow fight with that

The clouds are awsome. and the character is very freaky, very cool. Kind of like the contrast from it and the clouds.
