This girl lights candles next to a bathtub, steps in naked with a razor in her hand. She slits her vrist and the tub water changes color to red. Amazing scene.

In the wrong direction if people think death scenes are beautiful. Nobody has ever seen a girl slit her wrists in a tub and thought "man that was beautiful."

Equilibrium - where he grabs the shotguns, spins them round and shoots the 2 guys in the face. And well basically that whole movie. All the death scenes are wicked.

It can be beautiful, it all depeneds on the connection with the character, timing of music, color use etc. What most people are talking about is the most entertaining death scene, but those don't have to be the best death scenes, but of course everybody should know it for his/herself.
