June 12, 200818 yr I need help to get from 63 smithing to 69 smithing and 63 crafting to 66 for the new quest. This is rather urgent. I'm trying to lose as lil money as possible because i didn't really want to raise these skills in the first place. Im willing to high alch what i make but i would rather not ;) I respectfully thank you and your advice Proud Owner Of A Quest Cape As Of 4/29/08
June 12, 200818 yr Author Please this is really important to me... I really want my quest cape back... Proud Owner Of A Quest Cape As Of 4/29/08
June 12, 200818 yr For smithing if you're looking for speed with moderate loss try buying mith ore and coal, smelting it, making it into bolts, and selling them on the GE. A slower yet profitable way is to buy coal and iron, smelt it into steel bars, then sell the bars. I can't really help you out on crafting seeing as I never crafted as a member, and f2p methods are either really slow or expensive. Making dragonhide and alching might not be too bad, but I'm not sure. [bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp
June 12, 200818 yr B staving is ok xp and a lot of money. Other than that it's d hide or coifs. ~It's Super Effective! June 12, 200818 yr For crafting, I've heard ruby and saphire bracelets aren't bad to make and alch. For smithing, from fast and expensive to slow and cheap: smithing steel plates, gold bars with goldsmithing gauntlets, mithril bolts, smelting bars and cannonballs. Mithril bolts seem like the best option. F2P miner for life.
June 12, 200818 yr Author Yeah my friend mentioned smelt furnace, making mith bars, and the smithing mith bolts. With the rubies.... would I buy the gold bars and the rubies, make the brace, then alch? Proud Owner Of A Quest Cape As Of 4/29/08
June 12, 200818 yr With the rubies.... would I buy the gold bars and the rubies, make the brace, then alch? Yes. You may be able to buy gold bars cheaper than market price using junk or if you have enough quest points. I think that there are also people who will buy the bracelets on the forums. Ruby costs 1073 Gold bar costs 180 Nature rune costs 263 263+180+1073=1516 Alchs for 1315 201gp loss each 80 exp each 201/80=2.5125 lost gp per exp F2P miner for life.
June 12, 200818 yr I bought green d hides and crafted full sets, then bought whatever with the money and repeated it. It's expensive but decent experience. If you start with like 500k I'm sure you could gain a few lvls.
June 12, 200818 yr Smithing, just buy the bars and make mith bolts. Doesnt lose too much and its actually pretty fast exp.
June 12, 200818 yr Mith bolts at blast furnance is pretty good too, you actually make money. You could also smelt steel and mithril bars or make cannonballs but those two are really slow. lol, back to 1 post
June 12, 200818 yr Yeah my friend mentioned smelt furnace, making mith bars, and the smithing mith bolts. With the rubies.... would I buy the gold bars and the rubies, make the brace, then alch? Well... That would work. Gold bars are dirt cheap. Normally yes you would buy all of them. Some people will actually buy them for a little under the alch price so you could actually make more money. Also junk trading is in my mind sort of against the rules, but you CAN get gold bars cheaper that way. Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
June 12, 200818 yr Hopefully you've done Varrock Achievement Diaries (All 3 parts) and have Varrock Armor #3. With that armor you can buy 64 "blank" battlestaves from Zaff. Making air battlestaves = great crafting xp, and you also make a bit of money from it. (You need a decent money to buy battlestaves, but you'll make it back (plus extra) after high alching them). June 12, 200818 yr Author Thank you all for the great response =) you are very very helpful. Just wondering but is there anything good from the quest? Proud Owner Of A Quest Cape As Of 4/29/08
