I was originally going to get 99 mage at ape atoll, but my friend reminded me I could just get it at rock lobsters, getting lots and lots of charms along the way. So, I was wondering if anyone could tell me the average amount of xp per cast, and the proper equipment and location for them? Thanks!

The XP is just less than Ape Atoll (Around 3-5k Less Per 1k Casts) But you will get an average of about ~200 Crimson Charms at Rock Lobsters, and even more of Green and Gold. (Assuming you lure well)

Well, i'm trying to not bring too many casts (i'm very poor :\), so i'm trying to get xp averages. Do you know the average amount of xp per 1k casts, or per cast?

If your very poor, you should alch, alot easier, and get most of your cash back. Or you can try metal dragons, xp isn't so great, but chance to improve your gp amount, and go burst rock lobs.

Well, I know I have enough to at least help my mage level a little. Right now I have around 7.5m cash to spend on runes.

You would loose ~7.5m just alching to 99 mage

 

 

 

With that small budget you can forget bursting rock lobs, it won't get you very far.

From my experiences you get like +/-200 xp per cast, and like 150-200k xp per hour, which is about 900-1k casts.
