Dual input VGA/DVI Cables

Featured Replies

Do cables exist, which have 2 dvi/vga slots and a switch so you can switch between the two at ease? Also, i have a wii and am trying to connect to my pc somehow, via the S-Video slot on my Graphics card. Is this possible and if so how can i do it? Atm im thinking about buying a direct VGA wire to attach to my screen, but it would be a pian to swap the PC input and the Wii input every time i wanna swap. Is there a quicker way? Sorry if im not technical enough, this isnt my area of expertise..

You're looking for exactly what Slotter posted (a KVM). I would do a bit of research first though because some require keyboard input to switch between machines (which the Wii may or may not be able to do). Your best bet would be to find one with a physical switch to change the inputs.

What kind of monitor are you using mega? If it has two slots in the back (like a VGA + DVI) you could probably just get a VGA/DVI cable for the Wii.

At least on my monitor I have my 360 hooked up through the VGA side and my PC through the DVI side. All it requires is a simple menu change on the monitor to change output.

Im using an HPw2007v, so its not very feautre friendly, it only has 1 VGA input....

However, on the back on my PC, there is a Composite Cable input, and i can plug the wii in through there. However, i don't know what program to use to view the input from the composite cable....it should work though

It should be in the menu options on the monitor. [bleep] around that a bit and see if you can't find anything.
