I really think that even though the color schemes are quite different, they still coincide well.

Thanks for the compliment ::', I didn't dare to use many effects as I was afraid of making it to busy.

Good choice IMO, I've seen too many avatars with lots of effects crammed into a small canvas (which just doesn't work).
