baalboy5
This belongs to off topic in my opinion because it is based off how a company used a movie to make messages to support it's products. Yes it's a movie, so it belong in the movie forum, but it is also about video games. Info based off of. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wizard ... #Reception Review by the Nostalgia Very very bad verbal here, reviewed by the 'Angry video game nerd' Yes this is very old news but it brings a intersting information. A MOVIE was used to advertise ALL of NINTENDO's games. It even showed the 'preview' to Super Mario Bros 3. The thing is, this shocks me and I can't believe a movie was used, and that this worked! Discuss. Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob. People in OT eat glass when they are bored. venomai
Sounds like large-scale product placement. Imagine if the coffee shop in Friends had been a Starbucks... That would be a brilliant move by advertisers. :)

Besides, we don't need more Starbucks :P Sounds like a fun movie. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

That would be a brilliant move by advertisers. :) Then they'd all be struggling writers and graphic designers on Macbooks.
