Nintendo's biggest advertisment

Featured Replies

This belongs to off topic in my opinion because it is based off how a company used a movie to make messages to support it's products. Yes it's a movie, so it belong in the movie forum, but it is also about video games.

Very very bad verbal here, reviewed by the 'Angry video game nerd'

Yes this is very old news but it brings a intersting information. A MOVIE was used to advertise ALL of NINTENDO's games. It even showed the 'preview' to Super Mario Bros 3.

The thing is, this shocks me and I can't believe a movie was used, and that this worked!

Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob.

People in OT eat glass when they are bored.

Sounds like large-scale product placement.

Imagine if the coffee shop in Friends had been a Starbucks... That would be a brilliant move by advertisers. :)

Starbucks was absolutely tiny when Central Perk had been implemented into Friends, so that never would have worked. Besides, we don't need more Starbucks :P

Sounds like a fun movie.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
