Yeah so the user "Connorb" on this forum inspired me to go back into sigmaking.

 

So here's a quick one i put together in 30 mins

Meh C&C welcome, but keep in mind time spent. I am not going to edit it, but i am open for suggestions anyway.

Bluh, keep in mind that i did not use any downloaded brushes AT ALL. Everything was either effects or renders. Oh and by the way, I hate the background too :) But i really cba to change it for the better :P

The render is a little dark, my eyes goes to his ears as they're lighter :thumbdown:. Background is pretty boring could use a lot more smudging/blending :thumbdown:. Boring colours, because of the render being some "military" thing :thumbdown:. Lines that overlap the signature is "meh" :thumbdown:. The text is placed on a bad way and the font could be improved :thumbdown:. The border is pretty "ok" :thumbup:.

 

 

 

I only pointed out the bad things that could be improved there, I have to say it's a "Decent" signature :thumbup:.

I don't know..I see using brushes similar to cheating \

Hers some though : I think his pose is pretty interesting and with the alien coming out from the top right corner is a pretty good idea.

Because it doesn't help anywhere near as much as pointing out the bad things. ;-)

 

 

 

As for the signature, I'm not a big fan of it. Like said before, the background is pretty blurry and it just doesn't seem to flow well. The render could use quite some blending too, it stands out a bit too much at the moment. I think the strokes at the the top and bottom are quite distracting too, and the text isn't great.

 

 

 

It has potential, but could be better.
