ASUS Extreme Striker 2

Featured Replies

I have an ASUS Extreme Striker 2 mobo(Mother Board) in my computer. My issue is that when i first turn the computer on from a shutdown it turns on but won't boot into BIOS. I have to hit the little reset button to get it to boot into BIOS. It will boot into BIOS on a system restart fine. I have not upgraded the BIOS but it jsut started doing this and i am a little hesitant to do a BIOS upgrade cause mine mostly go wrong and i don't want to wait for a replacement motherboard. Any further information will be answered on request. All suggestions/help will be accepted.

Thanks, Sloter

Have you tried resetting the cmos using the jumpers?

If not its worth a try, full instructions on how to do a cmos reset should be in the manual for the motherboard.

If that doesn't fix the issue the do a BIOS update, but use either a flash drive or floppy as doing it from within Windows leads to most of the BIOS update issues you'll hear about.

If neither of those fix then you may be looking at a RMA.

Nono. I just thought i'd drop a random reply lol.

Replaced the Foxconn with ASrock (got ASrock on a computer from 04, which run stable all the time).

It was just a weak motherboard, as soon as i changed something it started giving me bluescreens lol.

But tell me, is yours still running stable? Hopefully.
