Im lvl 57 mining and would like to get 70... also would like to bank ores whats the best route of action??

I would say go with iron. Not sure on the best place to bank tho. Sorry.

Al-Kharid with the Ring of Dueling is most likely the fastest. However, if you don't want to deal with rings of dueling I'd suggest East Varrock mine. It's relatively close ot a bank (Varrock East Bank) and there are few people who can compete with your mining level there, especially on free worlds. I spent a very long time there and found that at maximum speed I could make about 18 trips per hour which translates into 504 ores per hour banked. It's not as fast as Al-Kharid but it's entirely free.

He's right. I recently timed both methods for banking iron, and with run energy the yanille mine is much faster, though by walking, its just slightly slower than dueling rings at Al Kharid (for this method, I would tele to castle wars to bank, then back to arena).

There is a deposit box just to the East of the mine, where the Trawler mini-game is.

 

Quicker than banking in Yanille.
