a sticky about minigame achievements, such as 180 tears in tog, 100 def points in BA (in one game) or 200 cw kills.

I don't really think that anymore stickies in Rate This are necessary. The idea of implementing some kind of new sticky in Rate This is a very common suggestion and the answer that most people give in response is that if there is a sudden increase in Rate This threads (such as mini game achievements), then it usually dies down after a few weeks and therefore a sticky is not necessary.

 

 

 

There are still topics that are 2 days old on the front page of Rate This so I don't see a need to weed out another category of threads and shove them in a sticky. Besides, looking through the topics on the first page, I don't think I saw any that were mini game achievements based on the titles. There may have been a few that I overlooked, but there's definitely nowhere near enough to merit a sticky in my opinion.

I have been part of tip.it forums for a long, long time, and it has been almost as long long time since people actually read what descriptions say, even longer time since people actually follow them =/

Nah, I don't think it's needed. Too much stickies make it less of a forum.

that doesnt mean you can just set random things under forums, "General discussion: post here what you like about the holiday events!"

i know it doesnt, but if it were to put there, people still wouldnt probably even notice it.

I'm also against another Sticky there. Would make it less of a forum and those things don't get posted a lot.

 

Also in Rate this! everything is pretty much the same, if we want, we can put that entire board in 5-6 stickies or something. Wouldn't be fun.

 

 

 

As for some lines under each forum:

 

I have to agree with some things Dragontotem says, a lot of people don't read those, they just check the title.

 

Also, those lines give a short discription of what to post there. If we would put everything there which can be posted, then the Forum index would be three times bigger then it is now.

 

What to post there and what not is also common sence.

 

It's common sence that you post what you like about Holiday Events in the Questionnaires and post your achievements in Minigames in Rate this!.
