I've recently Downloaded Irfanview because my paint was acting horribly. I need to know if I can create signatures with Irfanview, and If I can how can I.

I use irfanview for viewing images and resizing some of them as well. I knew that there were other features in the program, but because I have several programs I use for my artwork, I never tried them out. When I saw your thread, I decided to give a sample sig a shot. It stinks.. because I just grabbed a screenshot, but here is the before and after:

The program has six tabs across the top: File, Edit, Image, Options, View, Help

To begin with, you'd open your picture using File and choosing open... Next comes the editing, which really extends into the image tab, since that is where the enhancements are located. However, for a sig, you'll want to size it smaller. I would suggest, since it is annoying as heck, that you do your cropping in MS Paint if that is what you have right now, because I found the "custom crop" thing annoying to use under the irfanview edit tab. Plus I had to cut the image I cropped and then in the image tab had to create a new blank image and it would be easier if you can simply already have at least the size you want so that you can just play with the effects. It's not the best thing to use for creating something, but it can do the job.. in a limited sort of way.

I hope this helped
