  6. As was stated by evil_mumm_ra , microhelper is legal to use and in fact before it was ever approved for use on tip.it, Jagex was contacted to be sure that we wouldn't be breaking any of their rules. ~Turtlefemm
  7. Locked... There is a topic already in place which can be used to make a statement like this. No need for a separate one to memorialize anything. ~Turtlefemm
  8. well.. we could discuss certain points of those images... like.. how gross it was when I saw a baby's mother actually stick her finger up its nose... She must have needed the lessons... I'm sure she was probably one who put her whole hand into the back of its diaper too.. There once was a mom oh so young whose praises would never be sung cuz she dropped her poor tot while stirring a pot and the baby bit off its poor tongue... [Alternate ending by pryomancer: subsequently the child suffered 3rd degree burns to 80% of its body and the mother was imprisoned for 5 years due to child neglect.]
  9. Those are really awful... and funny... Poor kid haha And I personally found this very amusing.. I'm a parent.. my kids survived. 8-)
  10. Locked. As stated in the previous post, please post RS screenshots in the sticky. ~Turtlefemm Tip.it administrative Team
  11. This page has been cleaned of irrelevant spam. Please remember that this is a picture thread, not a discussion thread or a place to bash other users. Also, if you are commenting on a picture, please do not quote the image into your post, hide tags or not. Thank you ~Turtlefemm
  12. People who chew with their mouths open. People who bully other people openly or passive-aggressively. People who obsess over correct grammar, spelling, or pronunciation if spoken , to the detriment of a conversation. People who follow the bully like a bunch of mindless sheep. People who lie compulsively about everything. People who blow their nose by pressing a finger against one nostril and shooting it out the other onto the ground. *shudder*
  13. I'm sure the magnets will get dirty after sitting on the fridge for a while, if that counts.
  14. It's a pretty common business practice for companies to offer incentives for being loyal customers. It is a bit new to see it from a messenger program in the form of actual products. (I've seen a lot of the beta type rewards before) The Yahoo emotes are nifty, and those magnets look awesome. Not bad for a gift from Yahoo when they really don't have to do anything at all, since people use the messenger anyway. So I think its a good idea, why shouldn't messenger programs jump on the incentive bandwagon. Now arrange them in some amazing way on your fridge and take a picture of that. :P
  15. There are a lot of things that happen in our world that are not easily explainable, I always find it interesting how people can in one breath profess to strong beliefs in various "unprovable" religious groups, and in the next say that anything paranormal or psychic is crap and doesn't exist. Even worse are those who consider any form of psychic gift to be some kind of evil thing. Ignorance is the cause of fear... I find the "super psychics", the ones who seek fame and glory and spend their time creating dramatic backdrops for their gifts all in the name of doing good to be pretty repugnant. I have no doubt that most of them do have some gifts, but the roads they took to deal with them are ugly and only serve to reinforce the negative reactions of people to the entire phenomenon of the psychic world. There is a pretty huge world community of people with gifts or curses depending on how you look at it who keep it mostly to themselves, because they feel no need to play to the hype, no need to be "known," no need to be believed. They can do what they can do and really could care less whether others want to debunk their abilities. They just live with them. Empaths exist. Telepaths exist. Healers exist. Paranormal phenomena exists. That's my stance.
  16. Moved this to video games in offtopic as it is not a Runescape related game, regardless of the fact that Jagex created it. ~Turtlefemm
  17. There is no reason to separate users any further than they already separate themselves. The community structure is fine as it is and creating elitism is never something attractive in my eyes. In a perfect world everyone would be thrilled for the so called "honoured" members who earned the title through whatever reasoning existed, but in the real world, it only causes conflict and resentment. I think postcount is a silly reason to gain any kind of stature as well. Some of the most troublesome users on forums have the highest postcount and maturity level often creates abuse of the postcount thing anyway. Moderators are hired in their volunteer capacity to handle the forums and questions and help that the rest of the users need. The tools that they use really don't need to be meted out to "honoured" members as some kind of reward. They are tools.. Not prizes. So, while in an idealistic way, it is a spiffin' idea, it is not something that I think would work well in our forum environment. ~Turtlefemm

Insensitive remarks such as "get over it" are completely useless and not welcome in a thread where a user is asking for help. Whether another user thinks the question or the issue is stupid or nothing, obviously it is important to whoever is asking about it. Keep comments in this thread respectful and if you have nothing to add that is helpful or positive to the author, please do not bother responding to it at all. ~Turtlefemm
