  1. :D Daz3D chose one of my Bryce pieces for their July Gallery and I thought I'd share it here. I had a piece chosen in June as well...Here is a link to the July one for anyone who would like to see it...The June piece can be seen if you click the "View more art from this artist" link on the page. :D Red Abstract
  2. Thank you Chii. I will contact you via pm. :)
  3. Hmm, I thought on page one you said you liked Jabraultars? Care to be a little more specific ie. critique each piece so we know what you are looking for after all your request has been a bit vague and everyone has done something with that silly torus knot. Things to help us would include colors you like, style of art etc. yea sure, ill do that tomorrow Chii, This is a fairly relaxed board, and many different types of people visit to read, look at things, etc. I am well aware of the various levels of maturity here and because of that I rarely post anything media oriented. I thought that maybe your contest might be different and allowed myself to be talked into entering it for the challenge of doing something different with my art. That said, I am apalled at your rudeness and apathy concerning your own contest. Perhaps I have spent so much time at mature art sites that I forgot what the atmosphere is like at this board. It is irrelevent to me whether you find any of the work you've seen so far interesting, but what is relevent to me and what stands out is your attitude. Everyone who entered your contest at this point did so in good faith and put time and effort into what they did. Some kind of acknowledgement to them that you appreciate the time they took to participate in the contest you created would be the very least you could do for good manners. Your statement that you have yet to find anything you like is fine....Not everyone is impressed with the same things, but you certainly could have added a few lines thanking the participants for even joining in. A few of us entered simply for the challenge of creating something from that simple torus knot, not the least bit worried about your "prizes." Your offhand, dismissing "yeah sure I'll do that tomorrow" with regards to discussing what you actually might like gave us the sense that you really could care less about the entire thing. Actually, your failure to reupload the torus pretty much says that all by itself, because obviously no new participants can submit anything without a picture to do it from. I appreciate that the contest was here, because I was able to use it as a tool to challenge myself and I'm not concerned with your disinterest in my piece, only your apathetic attitude. This may not be the "real" world, but the people who inhabit it are real and a few manners go a long way. Turtlefemm
  4. :) Is this contest still going on? :P
  5. I thought it might be an interesting challenge to create the illusion that the 2d picture of your torus is part of the 3d creation I put it into...I incorporated the other things around it and set the lighting in a way that hopefully accomplished this. :) Here is the result. EDIT: Resubmit in png format
  6. Hmm... maybe I'll start sketching again...I have a lot of empty pages in my sketchpads. I can't find a pencil sharpener anywhere in this place, so I guess I'll have to fork out $$ for one. I really like the stretching piece you whipped up, ttt... :) And I love the colors you used on the dive picture.
  7. I do NOT have rough legs! HAHAHAHAHAAHA...I LOVE this!!! PHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT to all you critics :D :D :D :D :D

I think the wallpaper is excellent...I don't search for geometric perfection when I look at art. I simply react from a gut level...and my gut told me I really like this one. It is bright, but that is the power behind it...I have had more blinding things on my desktop and less thought provoking. Great job, pup! I can't wait to see your next project!
