How do I get the bones of the ninja monkey? Some people say I need to kill that head ninja monkey but wouldn't I get owned once I get out of being a monkey by the archers? Any help is appreciated.

if they approach you, wait a moment until their wandering around, then engage in cb. you won't get captured but becareful for other ninja monkeys that'll appear.

Alternatively, you can climb the ladder in the food shop and head north. There you will find a couple of ninja monkeys. Just pop on protect from range and kill one and then re-equip your gree gree.
