Inflation fix and degenerating wepons

Though i wouldn't be surprised if it has already been said, Jagex seems to have decided on their inflation fix.

In my humble opinion the barrows items are the first real money sink in a long time. Jagex seems to have got people to finally start giving their cash back to the nether world of shops and npc's. If Jagex keeps the primo items and armor degenerating they'll have a reliable way to pull some of the high alch spawned cash out of the economy.

This seems like a good fix to me. The only problem is that for the moment only the high end players are footing the bill. The medium-high lvl players probably havnt got there hands on the barrows equipment yet this might (though unlikely) cause a temporary wealth "bubble" with the medium high lvl players having unproportinate amounts of wealth.

The very low lvls buy their armor from stores (their sink)

and the high lvls have their degenerating equipment

But the mids and the high-mids might be less affected.

keep in mind, that many of the money made by high ach is made by high lvs, who high ach 10k+ items sometimes to get high mage

but they still need mid lv melee and ranger sinks, and high lv range sinks....

cos most rangers can get their rune arrows from drops..... and mid lv meleer's dont need anything to train besides a drag weap

true, but when i was a medium lvl, i didnt have much cash, considering. Now, merchanters dominate the markets....

I think jagex expects mid-lvls to buy members... thats when most do according to polls. F2P is a money drain... by not giving you any.

Besides I'm all for a wealthy middle class. Also if someone gets members early on... I'm all for their early support of jagex.

a good way to use up a little of that cash out of the bankers hands,

and as for mid lvls being expected to get members, id think that anyone any higher than mid lvl is gonna start getting bored of f2p, unless all you do is pk
