what to train on

my thieving is lvl 23 and i need to get it to lvl 53 for dt. any advice to were i should train. also my mage lv is 50 and i have 400k how should i spend that to get the make lvl out of it.

From the sounds of it you aren't ready to do DT (unless all of your melee skills are 80+?), even if you did get the required lvls to do the quest. If you are going to mage the four bosses (which you should) then I'd say 60+ Magic and good maging armor are needed. Not absolutely required but for the punishment from Dessous you'll need higher magic spells and better magic boosts from your armor to withstand the damage you take from him.

 

 

 

As for thieving pickpocketing works well, steal some cakes from the stalls in Ardy and use those to heal when you get caught pickpocketing

Sorceress garden was my favorite place its a maze-mini game that yields some farming exp and a decent amount of thieving exp especially at lower levels.

 

 

 

As for being capable of doing it maybe whats all your stats? You'll need 37 prayer without a question. Most people that do this quest at a lower level have alot of exp with the game and even with this quest from previous characters, and generally they are pures with 1 attack, strength and defense, 37 or so prayer and really high range and magic.
