I've decided I want to become a member on Runescape - I've been playing F2P for two years now, and I want to see what membership has to offer.

 

 

 

A few questions though.

 

 

 

If I buy membership for a month - and let it run out, before renewing, will I lose my member skill levels?

 

Can I purchase just one month of membership? Or do I have to purchase a full year?

no your skills stay the same,and yes you can buy 1 month with credit card,and with pay by cash..i think you can buy up to 1~2 years :shock:

The main site has quite a lot of information about membership, you should read it.

 

 

 

You can become a member for as much as a year or as little as a month at a time, and you will never lose your member skills.

 

 

 

If you use a visa card or similar to pay, chances are that you never have to renew and that Jagex will keep taking 5-6 dollars a month from your card to pay for membership.

Ah! That's great news - I was told that you lose your member skills once your month/whatever runs out.

 

 

 

I'll probably subscribe with paypal, as that's the easiest. I suppose it'd just be as simple as going onto their site, selecting one month, and then paying?

That's about right, yes. Remember that Jagex increased their members price a little while ago.

 

 

 

EDIT: I just realised, if my membership expires, I will lose my member items. Hm. I might as well give it a shot - and keep at it, if I enjoy it.

No, your membership items will not be lost. They will still be there but you cannot use them until you renew your membership. If you never plan to return to membership you can always sell them before your time runs out.

 

 

 

Wait, did you say £11 for a month? Is that English pounds? That's a bit too much, I'm sure it costs £5 or so for a month.

 

 

 

You could always add me in the game, since the time I first got my membership wasn't too long ago so I'd be glad to answer some of your questions that might pop up when you're new to members.

I think you are a bit off with the prices, I paid about 11 dollars today, and that is with the bank transfer, as in +1 dollar to the membership price.
