Guest Posted July 22, 2008 Share Posted July 22, 2008 Dear TIF, Apparently Jagex hasn't learned from their incomming reports on item scamming in the air and nature altar. As my old suggestion was not sufficient and I can't find it any more (possible lost in the 2.5 month setback) I would like to make a new suggestion. If Jagex places a sign inside these altars where people can see the current 10 best assisters that are present in the air or nature temple at a certain time it would cut back on the scamming capacities of those noobs that still feel to abuse all those runners that work hard for their money! Why would this idea work? Listing the 10 best assisters will make sure people truly see who still have assists available, also it would be a scam free idea since it could be programmed fairly easy into the game. I have seen that the quickchat is not preventing scammers from claiming their disturbing behavior of lying about the powers they hold. We need something different, and I think this will be it! Guest Posted July 24, 2008 Share Posted July 24, 2008 After the top 10 has gotten their xp (remember they can only get 30k xp per given 24 hour time period) they will be removed from the sign, The sign should show the person's name, his runecraft level and his xp left till 30k. Only people that are still able to assist should be featured on there. I chose for the top 10 since on most times there are not more than 4 or 5 people with x9 assist in a given time period. This also means some of the x8 will be featured, but honestly if there are so many players present that can give x9, any other player won't get assists. As I have stated in my previous posts if you're not giving x8 (77+ rc) you might better run yourself. And that's why it is fair, also the people with the highest rc level have been around there for ages (or in member worlds) So it is fair due to the fact they give more airs, and do this longer that they get to finish first.
