Tank or strength pure?

Featured Replies

Im working on an account with the stats;

67 attack

45 strength

50 defence

43 pray

I'll either get

75 attack

90 strength

50 defence

43 pray

and mage/range whatever i decide, or

70 attack

45 strength

90+ defence

44 pray

90ish range/mage

i'd like to keep my combat below 100, and my pray at 44, not more.

This is for the use of BH mid crater

I do all my training with slayer, so hp will be maxed as possible.

Any ideas?

Oh, i have ancients already.

I'd go with setup number one. With the number of mages in p2p, they'd go right thru 90 def. also, its only about a 20% difference for 75-90 def. I know it sounds like a lot, but at higher levels when they almost constantly hit, it really doesnt do to much..Both setuups are great, but i think setup 1 would be better.

I'm assuming you're P2P since you said you have Ancients already. If that's the case then I'd definitely go with setup #2. Range/Mage(Ancients) is always a dominant force when PKing, along with 90 defence it makes you pretty much impenetrable to other PKers. However my only issue with your setup is that you want to stay 44 prayer. If you're going to PK in the mid-crater, you can max up to level 112. So even if you had 99 HP, Def, Range, and Mage, you'd only be around 103 combat, allowing you to get 52 prayer which would make you 104. If you plan to stay a Range/Mage tank, then get every stat (eventually) to 99 except for attack, strength, and summoning, and raise your prayer to the highest level possible without going over 112 combat.

If you AREN'T a member (or don't plan to stay one) then set-up one is the best, as range/magers don't excel in F2P.

Just becareful what you choose, because if you don't plan to stay a member and choose set-up #2, you won't do as well in F2P. If you choose set-up 1 you won't be able to use set-up 2 in P2P.

why do you want to stay under 100 combat?

with BH, you can either be good in members, or good in free to play, but not both, sadly.

a range/mage tank will do better in members, out of the two listed however.

but why 45 strength? unless you want to get 99 attack it won't hurt you to get it to 70 as well.

EDIT: a maxed out ranged tank, with 99 everything except summoning and melee stats is 109 combat, or with 70 prayer you can get 52 summoning and sit exactly at level 112 with no fear of levelling, and 52 summoning is very helpful for GWDing etc.

I'll be Bhing in f2p - which is max 100 cb.

Im aiming for; 79 attack, 99 strength, 51 defence (legends quest etc), 99 range/mage 44 pray and 92ish hp

This is just a vision, i doubt i'll get it.
