das1330
When I have had that happen usually its because the music file is corrupted. The Ipod will try to play it, but if there is errors in the file it will skip it. Instead of resyncing, try using the recovery option on Itunes where all of the songs and software is deleted off the Ipod and reload all of your music. HotrodAha
It could be down to a copyright which has been placed on the file, or it may be corrupted like snipersas said. But without knowing where you got the file we cant help much.
