  1. It could be down to a copyright which has been placed on the file, or it may be corrupted like snipersas said. But without knowing where you got the file we cant help much.
  2. So google sometimes loads up but when you do a google search it cuts off? Have you tried using other internet using programs such as MSN or Runescape Client, before even opening your browser.. if these connect then it could be the google search hack. In this case you simple change your homepage to something like. uk.msn.com or www.yahoo.co.uk Let me know what happens before you change the homepage tho.
  3. Haha yea, i should sleep less and at more reasonable times #-o. Well hopefully he will read it eventually.
  4. Is it showing as connected on the network connections menu? If it is, does it have an IP starting with 169.~~~.~~.~~? Are you using a wireless connection? Have you tried rebooting your Hub/Router/Modem. Kinda hard to figure it out without seeing it but if you tell me everything you can about it i may be able to come up with something.
  5. Might not be a big flat wire could also be a sata cord to which is small. Well its like USB, you cant put it in upside down unless you force it. Im not super clued up with Sata, but from what i remember its not possible to plug it in wrong unless you use force. Serious man? Sata is the most common thing now a days. Also what is the only 1 way?
  6. What? I've taken numerous screenshots in the new detail and saved them with paint. I don't it will make any difference using another capturing utility, but it's worth a try a guess. You could also try, if you have the availability: Try another screen and another cable (dvi or vga) and see if it works. Using another monitor wont make any difference, if it was unable to display the picture then you wouldnt see the runescape screen either.
  7. Try downloading UOSU (Ultima Online Screenshot Utility) It could be that paint cant handle the detail level. Try using another photo program if you have one.
  8. Might not be a big flat wire could also be a sata cord to which is small. Good point, but isnt many Sata CD drives around. I think. Also sata can only go in 1 way really. Unless you use a mallet
  9. Plug your ipod into your computer. When its recognised and such, click my computer, right click the Ipod drive and select explore. Go to tools, folder options and go to the 2nd tab, tick the box with "show hidden files and folders". Press apply and close the options box. This should show a folder with a wierd name thats probably just a bunch or letters and numbers, you can open these folders to find your music. However when i did this i found that none of my music had names, it was all just stuff like "zzr" "trt" I didnt take them from the Ipod but hopefully when you do, windows will recognise its properties and rename for you. If not then you have a long time renaming tunes ahead of you :)
  10. Are you using the laptops keypad or a seperate keyboard?
  11. Im not a vista user but i know a few things about windows. It may be down to an interactive desktop theme or a heap of programs that you may have installed. Best thing to do is go to add/remove and delete anything your not using. Also close things like MSN, AIM, Bitlord(or any download program) while your not using it as these all use services which add to the usage.
  12. Whats the song name and where did you get it? This is relevant to the topic, im not just being nosy :)
  13. When you boot your system, press either F2 or delete to open your BIOS menu. From there you want to select your secondary slave* (im guessing its this since you say drive 4) and set it to automatic, Check that it is recognised. If not try unplugging it and booting up normally then shut down and reconnect and see if it appears. These problems are annoying as there sometimes isnt any clear reason for it to dissapear from the list. Also make sure the cable(the big wide flat one) is in the correct way and is in securely (The red stripe should be closest to the power cables on the back of your CD drive.) *Depending how many drives (Hard disk and CD drives) you have it may be primary slave(1 hard disk and 1 cd drive), secondary master(2 hard disk or 2 cd drives), secondary slave(2 hard disks and 2 cd drives).
  14. How old is your hard drive, and what size/make is it? If its old it may have bad sectors which are causing an error when windows attempts to write/read this sector. PM me later or post here and il try work out your problem.
  15. Black demons and fire giants dropped Dmeds also. And some say black dragons but im not so sure.
