Hi everyone,

There are three sides to every story: There's one side, there's the other, and there's the truth.

Well, you can find this yourself through your own research, as those with the best secrets never share these days as it raises the prices and ruins the method.

But just go to the grand exchange and check the prices of something, then subtract any money you can make back through selling or elsewise and then divide this by how much exp you will make from cooking the food and you should get how much gp/xp it will cost you.

Try to get it close to 0 as possible, and if you get a negative then i believe that you should make a profit from doing it (if you do come across this, take as much advantage of this while you can)

Trout is decent xp for its price, the only problem would be the fact that cooked trout doesnt sell. If you were going to do this, I would suggest selling it at bounty hunter, because pkers buy up food like no tomrrow.
