I've got about 2,5 Mil GP hanging around in my bank ready to be wasted on ranging.

 

 

 

Now a lot has changed ever since I came back to runescape.. So, I'm not quite sure anymore where the best places to train are + the best economical method of spending money for leveling up range..

 

 

 

Would really appreciate it if someone could give some insight.. i've looked into some guide.. got some info here and there.. but personal inputs would be even better..

 

 

 

my stats:

 

 

 

60 att - 64 str - 60 def - 34 Prayer -

 

 

 

and

 

 

 

level 10 ranged.

1-30 rats in varrock sewer, cows in cow pen, mintoars in sos(they drop tons of iron) or gnomes in khazard battlefield

 

 

 

30-60 Ardougne Zoo, barbarians, dark mages, elemental mages(south of fally), hobgoblins, dwarfs by white wolf mountain

 

 

 

60-90 green drags, fire giants, and other strong monsters if your not afraid of them

 

 

 

70+ blue drags

Buy iron arrows and train on minotaurs until around level 50, they drop a lot of iron arrows so you probably wont even have to buy that much then sell those to buy iron knives and move on to yaks.

ooo i forgot yaks, but i don't recommend minotaur all the way till 50. you can use some pray lvls so once you get round 50-60 you can also do some mossies

Some newbie tips:

 

- Always use Bronze/Iron arrows, or perhaps Steel if you can afford it. Everything else is a waste.

 

- When training in an area, look for safe spots so you can't get attacked. (eg standing behind a small rock)

 

- Remember to keep upgrading your gear =]

 

 

 

Note: These are all F2P locations :o

 

 

 

From levels 1-20, just go to the Cow field near Rimmington and attack them from behind the fence.

 

 

 

At level 20-40 Take a visit to the Minotaurs, there's some nice safe spots and they drop Iron arrows quite often.

 

 

 

40-60 I would definately go to the Flesh Crawlers, there's a really good safe spot in the most south-eastern room by the bottom left door where they can't attack you.

 

 

 

At level 60 I would personally suggest training on the Fortress Guards outside of the Black Knights Castle (by standing on the mountain where the Oracle is). They have a very fast respawn rate so you're more or less attacking them non stop. You won't be able to pick up your arrows here though.

 

 

 

I'm not sure about 65-70+. Perhaps Lesser Demons?

but past 70 , get 70 def , some decent gear and aviansie ftw , u gonna make ton of cash , good exp , then when u reach 92-94 range , chin with the money u made from aviansie
