Ya, looks too cartoonish/kiddish and not much detail.

i agree with above post you need to really have an idea and be inspired from it, not be bored and just do first thing that comes to mind, with this you could have planned it better, for example have a gradient/smooth transition of night to day with the sky going from dark to light of a half moon half sun or perhaps night creatures on one side for example bats, scorpions then on the other side w/e.. just some examples its too flat it needs a little perspective sorry.

uhhh, really? really? is this MS paint or something, this is really bad, i mean really bad, there are only 2 real colors that take up 80% of the picture, the middle has nothing, there is no real transition between night and day, even on the night or day side, the sky isn't bland, the sky should be blue, not a sunset orange, nor is night pitch black, the moon isn't yellow, the stars and clouds are just at the top. the clouds are "ok" but not realistic, the trees or laughable, the birds again are "ok" and the ground is is boring, and the picture is a horrible 2D

get gimp or photoshop and read some tutorials. download brushes, read up on filters, effects, blending etc, if you want to go into pixeling look at some tutrials and look at other peoples work, but dont post anything else until you get a grasp on something

ps if you think im being mean, have you seen other peoples work and compared it to yours? i really hope you see a clear difference in your skill level. keep practing, you'll get there

you've gotten the ball rolling man, keep it going you have the blueprints to an idea, that with time and dedication you can turn into a nice piece of art.

I pretty much agree.

I understand the concept and I think it could work, but the execution is just really, really simple and sloppy. I mean, look at those trees.. They really need a lot more detail, actually, I had trouble identifying them as trees at first...

Oh and don't say we're flaming you, we're telling the truth and I actually think that deep down you knew you would get comments like these.
