baalboy5 Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 2 looked like you slaped the render on it. also the kirby and the stewie one, the effects on the characters are ugly. stewie is way to bright, and he is flat. Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob. People in OT eat glass when they are bored. Jopie211 Posted July 29, 2008 Share Posted July 29, 2008 #1: The text is really bleh and partly over the render, which is not a good idea. Also, the blocky filter you tried to blend Samus with is usually not a good one to use, it makes signatures look filter-piled. The background could use some spicing up too, at the moment it very much looks like some monotone brushing. Try using some colours from the render to make your backgrounds, the colours don't have to be exactly the same but it helps if they match. #2: Same problems with the text here. Sonic seems very badly cut out too, the black line around him is not good and makes the render stand out too much. Try to blend by smudging some of the render's edges. The background here is better, though a bit messy because of all the fractals. #3: Bad quality render, again. Same problems with text, background and render blending. #4 - 6: Not going into detail on these ones since they're older and yet again have the same problems. Keep practising and take a look at some signature tutorials (there are some good one on http://www.deviantart.com, just search for 'signature tutorial'), and you'll improve. pixel avvy by me deviantART Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
