Coin Share Question

Can any 1 explain me how coin share exactly works. I am posting this question because some people in searching for teams in events posted that ranged lvl shouldnt be over 90 because loot would be unfair. But just below same player wrote that coin share and loot share will be turned on.Can any 1 explain me this.Also explain exact way lootshare and coinshare work

 

 

 

Also i want to know if totall coin vaule is 9m for example,and 3 players are in clan chat with coin share on , does each player get 3m no matter what effort he put in combat?

coinshare splits valuable itmes evenly with the people who are using cs and in the same place, and ls and cs can be turnned on at same time

A:Yes, the coins are distributed evenly, even if you only did 1 damage, and others did 300 damage, or vice versa..

A:Lootshare is to an option inside of someones clan chat.. Coinshare is another option in clan chat that takes high valued drops (mostly boss monster drops), and distributes the coins evenly to everyone fighting that monster, within the clan chat (anyone fighting from within 16 squares).

Coinshare take's the "rare" drop and turns it into gp. The gp is then split evenly between all the people in the clan chat.

 

 

 

Youre levels in no way affect the ammount you get. Everyone gets the same ammount.

 

 

 

And as long as your in the clan chat and within 16 squares of the monster being killed you will get a split even if u did no damage.

 

 

 

Lootshare is more complicated.. When using LS the item wont be split into coins. only 1 person will receive the drop. Whoever has the highest lootshare points. In order for you to have high lootshare points you must have missed a significant drop. Example: At bandos youre team used lootshare and someone in your team got a bandos hilt, that would raise your lootshare so you have a better chance of receiving a rare item the next time one drops unless other people in your clan chat have missed more than you .. 2 hilts, tassets, plate.. etc..

Ok.Lets say loot share and item share are turned on AT SAME TIME.but how am i supposed to know what are "high vaule" drops and which ones are low vaule - is there some strict limit?(That result in item dropped due loot share INSTEAD of coin share)

Remember you have to be in the same clan channel, and the owner of the channel needs to have coinshare switched to ON in clan setup and activated LootShare.

Check the Runescape DB for all items that are considered coinshare'd.. Theres a list, of like 100 items that are 'rare' drops with high values (mostly DK's, Godwars, KQ, KBD, and other boss drops)
