Really simple but yet good looking :thumbup:.

 

 

 

Lines could follow the flow slightly better but isn't a big issue, Moar simple effects like coloured lightning could make them a lot better. Your current one makes me think a bit, did you add the "black pixel tornado" (Based how I think it looks like), it gives the signature a weird flow and makes the lines look a bit bad as they don't flow with it.

 

 

 

The text placement is very good, the colour is also quite good but outer glow? *rips hair* is a big no-no (This goes for all signatures).

 

 

 

As I said try working with different lightning effects if you want to keep the simple style *cough*Soft light with pale colours are always nice*cough*

Could be worse, but I think all of these are a bit simple. Looks like a basic background with a few brushes, a render and text. Don't get me wrong, it works for some pieces, but if you use the same techniques nearly everywhere, that doesn't display a lot of artistic skill. The banner for example is just bland and boring, has a RS image on it ( :ohnoes: ) that stands out way too much and the text doesn't wow me either.

 

 

 

Try some new techniques and try to move away from you current 'brush-on-background' style as I'll call it. As you might know, there are plenty of signature tutorials on deviantART that are very helpful, so take a look at some of those and keep practising.

Stylisticly speaking it wouldn't hurt to mix it up a bit, the goth theme (both with colors and the stock choice) is boring and overplayed.

 

 

 

Likewise you use a lot of the same brushes in a pretty predictable manner and its boring.

 

 

 

1) The teal really doesn't work amazing with the pink, at least not in this signature. The pink is too washed out too really work with it.

 

 

 

2) Pretty drab colors -- but then again I'm sure that is what you wanted. The entire signature reeks with cheese and just looks like something a little emo kid would do, what with the butterfly and flowery text and all. (not even pointing out the dude with scissors)

 

 

 

I think that the text and the stock conflict for focal points as well, I would move the kid a bit to the left.

 

 

 

 

Far left and far right lines should be to the inside a bit more

 

 

 

It's uneven and such but make sure that your focal ends up somewhere where the lines cross.

 

 

 

3) Simplistic. Better, but it's still simplistic. The brushing does point to the focal point better, and the "World ends with you" guy is in a good spot. He could certainly be blended in more, and the entire signature feels a bit too tall.

 

 

 

4) Again I have a hard time taking this signature seriously just because of the subject material. Try to not overuse those butterfly brushes or the little swirly lines, because they're really predictable right now. I don't have much unique to say about this one that I haven't said already.

 

 

 

b1) Different which is a start. Text has unnecessary glow on it and it's still really basic. Oh and runescape characters look ugly as sin, never use them as a focal point. (Although I understand this was a request).

 

 

 

 

 

Deviantart) Just a bunch of random brushes with no thought at all. Not much to comment on it.
