Skilling0wn
What is the best way to get 81 herbore from 75?
Johannas
Personally i clean grimy dwarf weeds cos you dont make a loss. Prayer pots are ok xp and the loss is less than other potions. Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!

transcript80
I wondered wether the poster before me bought grimy - resold clean herbs on the GE and wether it was without a loss since clean herbs tend to be worth a few gp less. Cleaning herbs is still slow xp..... I grow my own herbs getting seeds from monster drops (= zero cost) and make the best pots I can with them, gathering seconds in the mean while. You could do that, but it is only nice xp when done in bursts... I also use the pots I make, so I hardly get any profit from the skill. On the other hand, its costs are also vitually 0. i train my herb in between other things, eg slayer tasks, farm runs etc. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked... Johannas
Yes, i got 70 herblore before herbs changed to "grimy" and the grand exchange was non existent when you could actually make a profit out of herblore. Now it's really costy exp. With cleaning herbs it may be slow, but it is actually profitable. Grimy dwarf weeds give 13.75xp per cleaning i think. That's what i do. I made a chart a few weeks back with costs etc based on average grand exchange prices i had been monitoring. Hope this helps and the picture doesn't come out badly. (Doesn't take into consideration of vials and water filled vials but that should give you a ruff idea of potion costs) Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
