[hide=]So i've just died at my first 3 attempts at barrows... losing:

15 prayer pots (4) (120k)

3 dds (120k)

300 rune arrows (120k)

3 slayer staffs (60k)

Help Pl0xz

I have read all the AOW guides through, plus the tipit guide but i still seem to be getting owned. I am level 105 and have 84 mage i think so i shouldn't be dieing!

Just a few questions...

1. How do i get my ectophial back?

2. Do i have to kill all the brothers in the mounds? Because at the moment i just enter the tunnel when i can...

3. What causes my prayer points to run out?

4. Does ring of wealth affect drops?

Can't think of any other questions just because i'm a little annoyed right now. :wall: :wall: :wall:

Anyone point me in the way any other guides/videos i wouldn't have seen?

Or give me any tips?

Plus a picture of exactly the route to take from ectophial place since i can never seem to navigate myself around the swamp and always use the long route with the long and winding path which loses me about 3 sharks every trip so far.

Help?

Thanks[/hide]

I think i'm ok at barrows now! Had a few runs where i actually managed to open the chest so it's all good. Warspear pl0xz?

Close if you want.

Get the Ectophial back by talking to the ghost chick who gave it to you in port phantasmas (I think her name was Elena or something similar).

Kill 5/6 brothers in their mounds, this helps you conserve prayer.

Your prayer is drained for 10 points every 15-30 seconds (I don't know exactly) when you are in a mound or in the tunnels.

Ring of wealth doesn't affect drops, wear a ring of life instead until you get used to the area.

I guess that you are dieing because you dont watch your prayer (which you should).

As for your questions:

1. You can get ectophial back by talking to Velorina in Port Phasmatys (wear ghostspeak amulet).

2. It is recommended to kill brothers in the mounds before you enter the tunnel.

3. Your prayer points are drained all the time you are in the mounds or tunnel (8 + your killcount every few seconds).

4. Dont know the answer, because i dont go very often so cannot estimate that.

Yellow + orange route: After completing In search of the myreque.

Blue route: Without completing In search of the myreque.[/hide]

Yes kill the brothers in their mounds. I cannot stress this enough. My one friend didnt know this, brought his newly earned torso he had spent a week on, died and lost it. WATCH YOUR PRAYER POINTS. NEVER let it fall below around 15. Since you dont have any surviving experience with barrows pray on all the brothers. Also use a ring of life. Its saved my butt many times. Also bring sharks/monks for verac/kc. Hope I helped.

Once you find the tunnel mound go out an kill the other brothers...

Once you have one left to kill enter the tunnel and let your prayer drain, as soon as the final brother pops up, pot up your prayer straight away and proceed to kill him...

Once you have done that keep an eye on your hitpoints and proceed to the center of the tunnel to claim your reward...

As others have said I can not stress enough how important it is to keep an eye on your prayer points when fighting the brothers...
