At what level does catching monks become faster exp than fly fishing at shilo, or is this never actually the case and fly fishing is the best exp no matter what...

no matter what fishing level you are monks will never be as fast as fly fishing

Wrong,wrong,wrong. About 70 or so fishing monks will really make shilo look weak. I'd do it at 75+ though.

I'd get summoning up and use an ibis too, it really helps!

barb fishing is the fastest fishing that i know of. but u dont get any fish in return, but u get small str, agility and cook xp.

So I got a few answers there, my fishing level is 78 so in my current position what is the fastest method of fishing?...

 

 

 

I fished at shilo til 76 then did a few sharks now I am trying monks so I was woundering which method is the fastest?...

 

 

 

Obviously not sharks though...

Barb fishing is the fastest exp method in the game. You can average 40-75k fising exp per our depending how fast you are, along with agility,str, and cooking exp.

barb fishing is the fastest fishing xp but u dont get any fish u can cook and eat

 

but the str, agility and cook xp is minute but adds up over time

 

 

 

the best thing about barb fishing is that u can stay there forever, bring a knife to gut fishes and use the roe and caviar for bait after u exhausted the 20 something feather or bait u bring with u. not profitable but thats the tradeoff for speed, u can bank the roe and caviar for profit but in that case u might as well fish for monks then

Hmmm..... well I've never tried barbarian fishing before so I shall try that soon and see how it goes...

Monks are still painfully slow for me, and i'm level 78, like you. I'd say at around 82-ish they become better exp, but never been to Shilo or tryed barbarian fishing - the lack of money from it makes me squirm
