Wizz
A few days ago I got a Dragon egg from this site , It's just a little place where if you click an egg/Dragon it will grow/hatch. I posted it on my Siggy a few days ago and the image was there and everything, but then I logged off for a while and came 2 days later to find out that it won't display an image of the Egg/Drag. When I go to edit profile I get this [hide=][/hide] It's says "It was not possible to determine the dimension of the image" Here's the code for those of you who say I probably have the wrong code .com/557rsz].com/6lor48/.gif] So I was just wondering what happend? Or was this just somesort of mistake, because I remeber the imaged showed on my Signature with the URL a few days ago. Wongton is better than me in anyway~~
D. V. Devnull
I bet you their server was just having fits... (dragcave.net, not tip.it) ... It appears to be working again now... Try putting it back in your siggy, and good luck to you. 8-) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)
Wizz
Nope it's not working now and I'm pretty sure it's tip.it....... Why did this get moved to Tech and Computers? It works apperentaly if I put it in a post. Let me try another one .com/5j7t8m].com/67f5cd/.gif] Seems to work only If I put them in Post......... Errdoth
It has to do with the [Censored for time being] link; there was a similar problem a little while ago (iirc) with someone's dynamic images. Actual posts show them fine, signatures do not :| Instead of the [Censored for time being], try: Last.fm Signature Overlays
Wizz
Nope did not work either....... Got same message! Wongton is better than me in anyway~~
Errdoth
That's weird :/ Easiest way to do it then would be to upload the pic to imageshack or something, i.e. But then you need to do it again once it "hatches" (I think, never used one of these before, but I think the picture would change?) Wizz
That won't work the whole point is getting views, views is how many times a person see's it on their screen if I put an a photo of it, it won't get any views.... MageUK
I expect the reason for this is something to do with DragCave.net's servers and their mechanisms for checking what is loaded. Try clicking this URL. You should see the image. Then try refreshing and you'll notice you get "Invalid Referrer". This is what the Tip.It server will be seeing when it attempts to get the dimensions of the image. If you want to use it I'm afraid you'd need to speak with DragCave.net about lightening their restrictions a little.
Wizz
oh ok then, What do you think I should ask them to do?Also when I refresh the Page I just get the same image again. Wongton is better than me in anyway~~
MageUK
oh ok then, What do you think I should ask them to do?Also when I refresh the Page I just get the same image again. Do it a few times and you should see what I mean, I expect it's probably to try and stop people faking their clicks/hits. The first thing to do would probably be to tell them our server can't check the image size because of that "Invalid Referrer" error and see how they respond to that.
