Inuashakent
You get xp for killing a monster during a slayer task. Yes, you can only kill those monsters with the required slayer lv. You gain 0 xp go slayer if you kill a monster not during a slayer task. Try using the knowledge base. Hedgehog
You can only get slayer xp from the monster you were assigned to kill. You can only kill slayer monsters if you have the required slayer level.
st1cky nub
oh ok thx at what slayer lvl is there a monster with decent drops?
transcript80
Banshees are ok, they drop lots of herbs and noten p essence. lvl 15 required, and earmuffs. Cockatrice (lvl 25 + mirror shield required) drops load of limwurt roots, which are worth quite a lot. They also drop cockatice eggs which you can sell or use for summoning. Harpi bug swarms(lvl33 required + slayer lantern required) are good for clue scrolls lvl2 and fire runes I heard. Never had them, though Basilisks (lvl 40 required) have nice drops. These are the lower slayer level moster I personally found good. Consider pyre fieds too, but I have miced experience with them. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
