What should combat stats be at to kill the giant mole?

70 attack, strength, and defense. 43 prayer for protection from melee.

High attack levels are essential, because he runs away from you, so it's important that if you only get one hit, you make it count. You should also have a reasonable summoning level, because a familiar will automatically detect the mole's next position and start following it, which helps a lot...or so I've heard.
