whats the best area to mine coal in terms of banking quickly

I would wait until you're over 50 or 60 mining to start mining coal. And then mine in the Dwarven mines if under 60, in the Mining Guild if 60+...that is probably the most efficient way.

That would be the best path to take for the moment. However, if you can smelt steel, buy coal from the Grand Exchange, and smelt those instead. It gives a pretty nice profit.

Why would anybody mine coal...? Coal is 30% of the cash you can get from mining gold, and the xp's not better neither... mine gold/granite.

(Mining guild is the best for coal, however.)

Because coal is always in Demand. It is necessary for nearly all Semi-High Level Smithing, so people always need to buy it.

Anyway, Like Dan' has stated, the Dwarven Mine and the Mining Guild are the best F2P spots to mine Coal and bank it.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

I would wait until 60 mining, then mine in the mining guild, Unless you can tell me a better mining place (i.e. little competition, many coal rocks, fairly close to the bank)

for f2p, dwarven mining guild is indeed the best spot.. but for p2p, the coal trucks are the best in my opinion.. since you can carry about 145 coal all at once to the bank.. and if you do some server hopping you'll have around 20 coal rocks all for yourself \'
