I've been wondering, is there a visible difference between 95 and 99 range? Or is it almost the same, and the random factor almost removes the difference?

The only visible effect i would know about is the cape which is <3<3<3 and hitting 1 more in f2p... Obviously hit some more in p2p too.

Considering I don't want really the cape, just to be able to range fast or possibly use it for pking, would 95 suffice?

Theoretically the higher level is always better, but that isnt always the case. If you want, get 99. But if you dont want to 95 will do.

Difference wont be that much...i hitted a 45-35 d bow spec with 90 range anyways..only a few points under the max with 99 range. The xp difference does not justify the higher hits.

I've BH'ed with 95 range, and I've BH'ed with 99. There is not as much difference in high hits, but accuracy is much better. And it's a lot better against Torag armour and such. If you're 95 then you may aswell go for 99, it is worth it.

Might get 99 eventually, but will 95 do for arma, solo prime and the occassional bhing?

 

Just thought I might spend that money, since godswords, DFS, gwd armor etc. just ain't my thing, lol.

The difference between 94 and 99 is minimal, so 95 would be the same, honestly if you feel you have the accuracy for certain things you can get it a bit higher, but the maxes will only be few points off.
