Laptop not connecting to router- need quick replies

Featured Replies

The router got unplugged and when I plugged it back in and set it up, I couldn't connect. I tried to reconnect and it asked for the WEP key so I put it in and it said: 'Waiting for network..'

Then it just stopped and timed out. It's a broadband connection obviously and my ISP is Telefonica I guess... >.>

My PSP connects fine and so does this PC, so idk what's wrong...

Please help me.

Try resetting your router, and restarting your laptop.

"Hello I.T. Department, have you tried turning it off and on again?"

Try power cycling your router and modem. To do this unplug the router and then the modem. Wait about 30 seconds and plug the modem in FIRST and the the router in after that. Make sure you wait for your modem to boot up all the way before you plug your router back in.

Umm it's ADSL so what modem are you referring to? Also i have tried turning the router off and rebooting it multiple times.

Your modem is paired up with your router.
