August 18, 200817 yr its a custom skin so to change it, it could be accessed by (right click on desktop) properties>themes and theres a menu that you can access, this is all from memory as i don't have XP any more so correct me if I'm wrong.

August 19, 200817 yr It actually replaces images etc within DLL's with vista style desktop. I prefer the Crystal Clear skins though as I find them more pleasing to the eye. [Assist-X]

August 19, 200817 yr You mean a system restore? You could, but make sure everything is as you want it first, and make sure it works afterwords before deleting the restore.
