Numberkills Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Well, since school starts for me tomorrow -.- I won't be playing quite as much as I did during the summer, and decided I'd do a really easy goal during the school year; 99 Cooking! What methods should I do from 87-99 cooking? As in Lobs to 94? Sharks to 99? Maybe monkfish somewhere in there? Also, where is the fastest place to cook; The Cook's Guild (only 1 more task for Varrock Armour 3) or Rogue's Den? Thanks in advance 99 Fletching || 288/309 Quest Points || 99 Cooking || 122 Combat || 99 Defence || 2000+ Total ||16/25 80+'s || 99 Firemaking || 99 Woodcutting || 2011 Goals : All skills 80+ | 99 Magic | 99 Farming | 99 Thieving | 99 Hunter | 99 Range "The Unexamined Life is not worth living" - Socrates Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The Observer Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Well, if you're cooking lobs, I would go for the Rogue's Den, then at level 94, when you're cooking sharks, try the Cooking guild. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
brunokiller Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Lobs to 94, sharks to 99. I myself prefer the Rogue's den, as it is less boring(more talk there). And 99 cooking just got a lot cheaper, with the pvp everywhere update coming it's not much of a loss anymore. My blog Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Numberkills Posted August 20, 2008 Author Share Posted August 20, 2008 Awesome! Thanks you two, guess it's time to buy some lobs. 99 Fletching || 288/309 Quest Points || 99 Cooking || 122 Combat || 99 Defence || 2000+ Total ||16/25 80+'s || 99 Firemaking || 99 Woodcutting || 2011 Goals : All skills 80+ | 99 Magic | 99 Farming | 99 Thieving | 99 Hunter | 99 Range "The Unexamined Life is not worth living" - Socrates Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kietaro1 Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 A word of advice would be to use your Kingdom (if you have finished Royal Trouble and Throne of Misc.) to get fish. Tuna is 100 cooking exp per fish and Swordfish are 140. If you were to cook 100 tuna/100 swordfish as opposed 200 lobsters, the only difference would be that you would MAKE MONEY using your kingdom. And since you are level 87 burning either is not possible so this is something you probably should look at in the times when you run out of lobsters. Using this method I have made nearly 2m cooking my way to 99. As I am only level 89 I am sure that I will continue to profit in the same way. Numberkills Posted August 20, 2008 Author Share Posted August 20, 2008 So should I put 10 on fish, and 5 workers on flax/maples/hardwood/mining? 99 Fletching || 288/309 Quest Points || 99 Cooking || 122 Combat || 99 Defence || 2000+ Total ||16/25 80+'s || 99 Firemaking || 99 Woodcutting || 2011 Goals : All skills 80+ | 99 Magic | 99 Farming | 99 Thieving | 99 Hunter | 99 Range "The Unexamined Life is not worth living" - Socrates Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kietaro1 Posted August 20, 2008 Share Posted August 20, 2008 Well if you do not care about nests or herbs then flax is the best money maker. Do NOT use hardwood, and herbs are pretty expensive, though you will still make a profit. The extra 5 really are up to you depending on whether you want a profit or want the secondary items (I do maple and lose a little bit of cash but I want the nests so I am willing to make that sacrifice, you may not be.)
