I've read 3 different guides and they all say something different. # Talk to the captain again and this time the option to insult him for not knowing the bandit was a fraud comes up. He will challenge you to a duel in response. # Fight the captain. # A metal key should appear in your pack (it will be on the ground if you have no pack space.) # Collect your bet (if any) from the guards. And anytime I need to head back in there (99% of the time for a clue) I just kill him for a new key. There's cake through here, apparently.
