  1. Indeed. And it was [bleep]ed up for them to troll you on your other thread as a clan (believe me, it was as a clan - I watched it unfold in their cc) :/ can't believe they think they're in the right.

  2. People don't like it when you tell them they're wrong. Metagaming communities are typically disliked by the general population. For example, the metagame community on world of warcraft is called "elitist jerks" because a lot of people hate them. The flaming comes inherently with any metagaming community. At the end of the day, there's always people like hevendor that will explode with irrational rage if you so much as tell them they're doing something wrong. Ah, the queen of efficiency rears her ugly head. I've yet to explode with any irrational rage (before you go quoting a pm convo I had with tui, that was on something purely between him and myself irrelevant to this) but your clanners like usa hell yes seem to really like "exploding with irrational rage" as shown in the chatbox pics. It's a shame DGS leaders started listening to you  was a pretty decent community til efficiency and elitism took over (and to quell a few retorts before they surface: elitism doesn't have to come in the form of level reqs, many times it's an attitude, and a lot of DGSers show it.) All of the efficiency elites are the ones who started this clan. Grimy, Obt, Cheesy etc. You [bleep]ed up in a dungeon and can't handle any sort of criticism, go cry somewhere else and don't let your skirt get caught in the door on your way out. And stop spamming this thread, some people read it to learn about dg, not to hear you [bleep]ing about not having the capacity to handle being told you screwed up. Actually, you're both incorrect. As Cheeesy has so eloquently and repeatedly pointed out, the main point of DGS was to teach people how to dg. Btw Jactise, cool your jets - you don't flame very well.

  4. Cussing me out for making astrals is giving me chance? HAHAHAHA I don't remember anyone "cursing you out for making astrals." I'm sorry but a 15 second reaction time to gtgd or moving the gt to your gate completely ruins floor times and people who do that are unwanted. I'd understand if it was different techniques that you needed help with but your problem was using the same amount of effort in the dungeon that you would use towards woodcutting Ivy, and that doesn't fly. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous. It severely inhibits the rate that the floor opens up, the keyer cannot do as much, so yes, it does affect floor times Also it does not show that you have the right attitude because if you think it's fine to waste 15 seconds here or there, sooner or later it will add up. It's fine to mess up, and apologize for it, i've personally done it a multitude of times, but to just get so defensive about it to the point that you make screenshots and try to defame DGS is wrong. If you have any issues, you're free to PM any of the ranks in-game or use the PM system on TIF, but this is not the right place to do things. I'm a bit more inclined to apologize when a) I make an honest mistake, which I didn't b) I'm not met with a flamestorm upon said mistake. 1) 50 of each 2) Are you really trying to make the argument that hitting control-shift-3 one time requires attention? 3) Not when it's showing how far this clan has strayed from the values it was built upon. Hevendor, you have already been asked kindly to use the proper channels of communication when dealing with a perceived problem of this nature. PM one of the admins or myself if you have a problem with a person in a dungeon. Do not continue posting your complaints on this thread. It's cute how civil you talk when everyone's watching!

  7. Pretty classy clan you got goin' on here' date=' huh? [/quote'] It's easy for you to create a winning argument by just filtering through all of the information down to a few selective screenshots, and basing it ALL on one dungeon. I've DGed plenty of times with USA, and if he's calling you those things you PROBABLY did something to deserve it (like afking or idling) Those are the only times I was spoken to - was I supposed to quote calls for doors and keys instead? I did nothing to deserve the flames - I was being flamed before I even finished crafting cosmics/astrals in the start room.
  8. Cussing me out for making astrals is giving me chance? HAHAHAHA
  9. A recent experience of mine with DGS (forewarning, pretty bad language upcoming): Easily the worst large I have ever done. Best part? Here are their dg levels: 114, 105, 104, and 104. Additionally, DGS was built around the principle of teaching people to dg well. New dgers tend to do things wrong because they're learning, right? Here's what a DGS rank (Tui) has to say about doing things wrong with the clan: Pretty classy clan you got goin' on here, huh?
  10. If you have yak, you have to change the inv to allow for much shorter trips(likely one hour) and bring lots of food. Defense bonuses will more pronounced so try using full barrows(veracs skirt and helm). If you can, kite melee attacks as much as you can(similar to kiting 360s in fight caves). Overall, i'd suggest sticking to range in such a situation as it's just so much easier. What do you mean by "kite" as a verb?
  11. I'm a soloer too :shades: My personal recommendation would be to pick up ALL food you see and make a healing familiar whenever you can - the healer will increase how much your food heals thus making low tier food more worthwhile and high tier food even better; and the healing really adds up. Also, try and get a friend (probably a high level smith) to help you get a promethium weapon (spear is preferable IMO since mine is p++ and has all styles, but some prefer 2h to use w/ berserker ring), it really makes a difference. So why wouldn't you cover all attack styles with one weapon?
  12. Your head is bigger than [bleep]ing Jupiter. Tone down your ego and learn some common courtesy - just because you supposedly have the "right" to be an ass (btw, who died and made you king?) doesn't mean you have to be one. People like you are what kill the fun of MHing.
  13. Author's just as whiny as the RSOF kids tbh. Yes, they ought to cut Jagex some slack, and at the same time, yes, they have a right to be irritated. Complaining about complaints just turns the entire debacle into a vicious cycle of stupidity - the article draws attention to something that needs none.
  14. I recently picked scape back up, and I've noticed some really bad issues while playing. First and foremost, my specs (generally) Newest version of Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Newest versions of Firefox, Safari, and Chrome. [Note that Chrome won't even let me see the login screen for whatever reason, so that one doesn't apply as much.] Secondly, the issues. When dungeoneering, I clicked on a door (thus prompting the game to generate a room) and my computer went irrecoverably wack. The bottom half of the screen went black and the top half had flickering black bars across it, although the RS sound continued to play just fine. I had to restart the computer to end the issue but it still occurs every time I try to do dungeoneering. Next, random black patches have taken place of my inventory items and a larger black patch occupies the lower half of the inventory and remains there no matter which tab of it I click (friend list, spellbook, etc). Then, on my way to Camelot, large random patches of the ground turned black (as well as the trees - the area looks like it was burnt to the ground but the structures remain standing.) I quit Firefox at that point, and loaded up Safari (which I used to play RS on before it started having whitescreens every time I switched tabs.) Upon logging in and running about 5 squares, all of my armor went pitch black. I was in rune, neitiznot helm, str cape, etc. and all of it was pitch black save for the wings on the helm, the trim on the cape, and my weapon (a Saradomin Sword, if it matters): those remained their normal colors. I have restarted my computer numerous times and made sure my OS and browsers are all up to date. Can anyone tell me what the hell is going on? :/
  15. What about in the context of PvP/PKing?
  16. Why do most people like the rapier over the longsword? When I first saw the weapons I was instantly attracted to the longsword because it was basically a Vesta's Longsword that degraded at a tenth of the normal rate - the rapier looked like a decent stab weapon but not much else. So what gives?
  17. I'm currently 86 summ, and I'd really like 88. I've slayed to 85 and don't have much interest in slaying further, so bursting/barraging sounded like a good idea. My questions are these: 1) Which is better? Speed-/cost-wise, XP can be left out. 2) How would one estimate how many bursts/barrages needed to get the necessary charm amount? I need ~2300 crimson charms. Thanks in advance for any help/guidance!
  18. Finally a quest with a truly challenging fight...lol at the skillers [bleep]ing and moaning about it
  19. I'm 67 fletching and I need 77. I'm willing to spend pretty much any amount of money within reason (cap...1m losses I guess). What's fastest? I've heard addy arrows (tips to headless arrows) and yew longs - although I haven't tried the former and I've found the latter to be slow as dirt. Thoughts and/or advice?
  20. I see. Is there any way to calculate how much essence I'd need for those levels? (it's 345k xp)
  21. I've heard the optimal level for ZMI is 75 so wasn't sure if it's still worth doing at these low levels; just need it for the 196 air rune task of the hard Falador diary. Any info is appreciated
  22. I think you used to have a pure setup pic listed.. where'd it go?
  23. All's fair in the wilderness really because there are technically no rules.. but the problem most people have (myself included) is similar to what the member of DI who was interviewed in the Prayer/PvP article said: they're too powerful. If both parties used a protection prayer (it's one thing if you're melee fighting and you see a magic pjer nearby and pray mage to protect yourself in the event of a victory, not what I'm talking about here) the fight would be long and boring. 0,0,0, etc. They block too much damage and simply take the excitement out of a fight. The fun in PKing is the unpredictability, you could be comboing like mad and have your opponent scarfing sharks as fast as he can click, but one 40 with a whip in retaliation and suddenly you're on the defensive. With protection prayers, this wouldn't happen (even if both sides used Veracs it still would affect damage dealt). Farcasting, rushing, pjing, they're all tactics, IMO use them as you will. Prayer affects the flow of the fight, stops it really, unlike those tactics, hence where most draw the issue with prayer in PvP from.
