i've been trying to log back onto my old account on the forums from years ago named 'fatai'. i couldn't remember the password for the life of me (must be a good 3 years since i last logged on) so i got a new one sent to my email address. that went fine but when i try to log in with the new password it says its an invalid format and i should contact an admin (i tried getting a another password sent a further 3 times just incase, but with the same problem), but the email address to contact the admin is the noreply one so i'm guessing i'm better posting here. after a few attempts it now says;

 

 

 

You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to enter the confirm code from the image you see below.

I think PMing an admin would be better personally. I have never received an error like that, I wouldn't know what to do.

I agree, this wouldn't be the place for it as you may have to give information that you don't want to share with the public.

I would recommend sending in an account problem report: account_problem.php

 

 

 

Use the option "Other Login Problem" and request that your password be reset. And while we're on the subject, a techie needs to look into this resetting password problem. It hasn't been working for me either (and several other users) so there's clearly a problem with the system.
